1. Libby's presentation.
2. The Law of Attraction.
3. My big fat mouth.
4. Lindsay.
5. My home.
Leo Tolstoy says, "If you want to be happy, be." And Robert Anthony says, "Most people would rather be certain they're miserable, than risk being happy." It's far too easy to focus on the things that piss us off or disappoint us every day. Negativity breeds negativity. That's why I'm dedicated to documenting at least five things that make me happy every day. Happiness is a choice we make, a way we live. Choose happiness. One day at a time.

Tuesday
1. I actually had THREE meetings today. ALL of which were meaningful, productive, AND focused on student learning! AAAAHHHHH!
2. Yes. I wear sandals. Even when it's 10 below. I'm sure you have your own special stupid things you do on principle.
3. Lunch with Jeremy K and Lindsay. It's nice to get out and about. Even if out and about is just the second floor.
4. My Colorado Writing Project peeps. You know who you are. And you're awesome. And your students know it.
5. Reading books with Jack. Even though I really don't like "Red Fish Blue Fish." He can read all by himself!!!
6. Have I told you that I love "Write Like This" by Kelly Gallagher? I do.
7. Don't tell anyone. But I totally rock out to Billy Joel's Songs in the Attic in my car every day. Especially #1, #2, #7, and #10. Loudly.
Good Tuesday.

New Monday
Am glad to be reminded that this blog is a worthwhile venture...
1. Great lesson plans today: celebrate successes, identify conventions of a blog. (God, I'm such a nerd.)
2. Hugs. LOTS. OF. HUGS. [In fact, I entered into a Hug Contract with Leann Knapp.]
3. Laughing my ass off with my Hen House. P's and mirrors and OMGs!
4. Watching "Charlie Brown's Christmas" with the kids.
5. Resuming blogger status.
