4. Everyone who came over last night for the housewarming! A house full of friends and family is the best!

Thursday off

1. Taking the day off, catching a quick nap, and taking care of Simon.
2. Shopping with Mom.
3. Framing my pictures.
4. Bratwurst.
5. Getting pictures hung.

How did it get to be the end of April already?

Man. Time is flying!

1. Getting some long overdue work done. Finally.
2. Laughing with kids today. One of the best parts of the job.
3. Rain. And snow. And that rainysnowystuff.
4. Dylan said to me today, "Are you sure this is the grade I deserve? Can't you be more critical?"
5. Snuggies in class. That's a first.
6. 5K. 53 minutes. I don't care if my time looks slow. One foot in front of the other. One step at a time.
7. And then I went for a jog. To my parents' house. For fruit and onions.
8. Upstairs. Fire. Then downstairs to wind down.

A pretty good day.

Monday. Really?

1. Chatting with kids about whether we exist. Y'know, just the basics.
2. Having a little Borges inside of me. Borges is the new cojones, y'know.
3. Rain and hail and thunder. And pregnant clouds.
4. John Denver. So loud I can't hear anything else.
5. Simon's smile, Jack's laugh, and Matt's kisses.

Easter Sunday

1. Eggs in weird places I forgot about in the short time that I slept.
2. Musical beds at my house.
3. Everyone around one table.
4. Playing at the park!!!
5. Baseball. And grilled cheese with spelt bread.
